Consider this good cause for your next gift purchase, wether you are shopping for others or yourself. You don’t need to be blind to enjoy soft fabrics on your skin. This company is doing so much for the blind community and they are creating amazing clothes. It would be better to contact them and ask to make sure. If you decide to shop blind in the future, I am not sure if they guarantee that you won’t get something you’ve already purchased. Or, you can shop their store for specific items that you need. If you don’t like surprises but want to support the cause, you can donate to it. If I didn’t have a need for the socks, I’d simply re-gift them. However, since this is for a good cause, I couldn’t imagine returning it. The return label comes with your purchase.

I loved the whole “shop blind” concept, but not everyone wants to spend their hard-earned money if they don’t know what they will get. My husband claimed them right away and I don’t see him going back to his bulk-purchased Wallmart socks ever again. Our $28 purchase turned out to be four pairs of super soft high quality socks. Two Blind Brothers is a luxury clothing line on a mission to cure blindness. But if it helps, the clothing really is incredibly soft and high quality. Two Blind Brothers makes ultra-soft designer clothing with natural plants and proven fibers for the sole purpose of funding research to cure blindness. Bradford and Bryan are brothers sharing in a mission to cure blindness. The cause itself is a good enough reason to make a purchase. So basically, Two Blind Brothers allows customers to shop blind for items that are created by the blind and the profits go to research for the blind. They both have an eye condition called Stargardt’s disease. Bradford and Bryan also hire blind workers through organizations like Industries for the Blind to make our items. They started Two Blind Brothers to make the softest clothing and gifts in the world and to help the blind community by donating 100% of the profits back to research for eye disease through Foundation Fighting Blindness. It seems like most money goes to the FFB, an organization that a lot of blind people are critical of.The company was created by Bradford and Bryan Manning.

IANAL but being an LLC, I don't think they're subject to the level of questioning that actual charities are. It seems like it would be easy enough to give an approximate dollar figure, but there isn't one. Here's what I gathered from scouring their website: It's already annoying enough when people ask me how I dress myself or know what I'm wearing I don't need a company like their's only playing into that stereotype. They've really rubbed me the wrong way-the whole 'shop blind' challenges bothers me a lot as someone who's both blind and quite into fashion. I do not, but really glad someone else is asking this question.
